Our bagels
Without giving too much away about our top secret VanillaTree bagel recipe, our expertly selected ingredients are skillfully combined to create a large ball of dough. This dough is then meticulously hand-rolled and left to rest overnight, ensuring it reaches its full potential before being boiled and baked to perfection in our ovens. A lot of people don't realise just how good a hand-rolled bagel can be. Bid farewell to those lackluster store-bought imposters! Once you've experienced a real, hand-baked bagel, there's simply no going back. Trust us, your taste buds will thank you.

our salt beef
Our salt beef bagel has become a favourite among our customers. The preparation of the salt beef is quite time-consuming, but trust us, it's totally worth the wait! We source our beef brisket from local butchers, B W Deacon based in Ampthill, ensuring the highest quality. The beef is then brined in a delightful mixture of salt, sugar, and spices for a period of 10 to 14 days. After that, it undergoes a slow cooking process for a full 24 hours in a sous vide. Once perfectly cooked, it gets a nice sear in a hot pan before being sliced and ready to be placed inside our hand-rolled bagels.
